Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Floral Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for floral design, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all floral arrangements are both stunning and reflective of our clients' visions. In this role, you will oversee every aspect of floral design, from client consultations to the final delivery and setup at events.
Duties:
- Design Concept Development: Create and develop floral design concepts based on client consultations and preferences.
- Budget Management: Ensure floral designs stay within the allocated budget. Manage and track expenses for flowers, materials, and labor.
- Arrangement Creation: Oversee the creation of all floral arrangements, including bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, corsages, and other custom pieces.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise the floral team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect all floral arrangements for quality, consistency, and adherence to the design concept.
- Logistics Planning: Plan and coordinate the delivery, setup, and teardown of floral arrangements at event venues.
- Onsite Supervision: Be present at event venues during setup to oversee the placement of floral arrangements.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during setup or throughout the event.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Lead Florist or in a similar role.
- Strong design and creative skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of flowers, floral arrangements, and event planning.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to event venues.

Arrangement Assembly: Help create floral arrangements under the direction of the Lead Florist, ensuring consistency with the design concept.
Material Handling: Organize and manage supplies and materials, ensuring everything is readily available for the team.
Delivery and Setup: Assist in the transportation of floral arrangements to event venues. Help with the setup and placement of arrangements according to the plan.
Venue Preparation: Ensure the venue is properly prepared for the setup of floral arrangements, including setting up stands, vases, and other necessary equipment.
Teardown and Cleanup: Assist in the teardown and cleanup of floral arrangements after events. Ensure all materials are packed up and returned as needed.
Quality Maintenance: Help maintain the freshness and appearance of floral arrangements throughout events. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure they look their best.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Florist Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Good understanding of floral design principles and techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Physical stamina and ability to handle flowers and materials carefully.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to event venues.

Delivery: Transport floral arrangements from the workshop to event venues, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
Setup: Assist in setting up floral arrangements at event venues according to the design plan. This includes placing centerpieces, decorating arches, and setting up other floral installations.
Venue Preparation: Prepare the venue for floral setup by arranging stands, vases, and other necessary equipment.
Teardown: After the event, efficiently teardown and pack up all floral arrangements and materials. Ensure the venue is left clean and all materials are returned to the workshop.
Quality Control: Ensure all floral arrangements are in perfect condition during delivery and setup. Make any necessary adjustments to maintain quality and appearance.
Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workshop and storage areas.
Experience:
Previous experience in floral setup and delivery or a similar role is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy floral arrangements and equipment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours, including mostly weekends.
